Alcohol

Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Vaquphos 40.3% Injection . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.

Pregnancy

Vaquphos 40.3% Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding

Vaquphos 40.3% Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Kidney

Liver

There is limited information available on the use of Vaquphos 40.3% Injection in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.

Vaquphos 40.3% Injection helps treat high calcium level in blood that may have been caused due to an overactive parathyroid gland or some type of cancer. It may also be used to treat low blood phosphate level. Do not take antacids (to reduce the acid level of your stomach) while taking this medicine as they may reduce the efficacy of this medication. Your doctor may get regular blood tests to monitor the levels of calcium and phosphate in your blood while you are taking this medicine. Avoid other supplements containing calcium while you are taking this medication. Inform your doctor if you have a history of kidney or heart disease.
