It can take a few weeks for this medicine to work (because the dose has to be increased slowly) and during this time you may still have seizures. Do not stop using this medicine even if you feel well, until your doctor advises you to. Missing doses may trigger a seizure.

How Valproval Tablet CR works Valproval 333mg/145mg Tablet CR is a combination of two antiepileptic medicines: Sodium Valproate and Valproic Acid.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Valproval 333mg/145mg Tablet CR as it is deemed unsafe.
Valproval 333mg/145mg Tablet CR is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Valproval 333mg/145mg Tablet CR is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Valproval 333mg/145mg Tablet CR may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Valproval 333mg/145mg Tablet CR is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Valproval 333mg/145mg Tablet CR may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Valproval 333mg/145mg Tablet CR is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
If a dose of Valproval 333mg/145mg Tablet CR is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
