Typhibev Vaccine is a typhoid vaccine recommended for the prevention of typhoid fever. Typhibev Vaccine works by causing the body to produce its own protection (antibodies) against the bacteria. This vaccine is generally recommended for individuals who are traveling to areas where typhoid fever is common. However, while traveling, it is important that you avoid contaminated food or water. Typhibev Vaccine is given as an injection into a muscle by a doctor or a nurse, as a single dose, approximately 2 weeks before travelling to such an area where typhoid fever is common.

Typhibev Vaccine is a vaccine which helps develop immunity by initiating a mild infection. This type of infection does not cause illness but stimulates the body's immune system to produce antibodies (proteins) to protect against any future infections.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Driving

Liver

Typhibev Vaccine is used for prevention of typhoid. It should be given at least 2 weeks before protection against typhoid fever is required.� Take it in addition to strict food, water and personal hygiene measures to avoid the disease. It is usually given by injection into the muscle of the upper arm or leg. It is not recommended for use in infants and children under two years of age. Protection lasts for around 3 years. Booster injection is required every 3 years to provide continued immunity.
