Tikpod 100mg Tablet Dt is an oral third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It contains the active ingredient Cefpodoxime Proxetil, which is effective against bacteria responsible for infections of the respiratory tract, ears, throat, urinary tract, and skin. By inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, Tikpod 100mg Tablet Dt stops bacterial growth and helps eliminate infection, gives bactericidal action. It is commonly prescribed for conditions such as sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, otitis media, and urinary tract infections.

Cefpodoxime Proxetil is a prodrug that converts into its active form Cefpodoxime, after absorption.
