In Treatment of Sneezing and runny nose due to allergies Telekast-T Tablet CR provides relief from symptoms such as blocked or runny nose, sneezing and itchy or watery eyes. This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities. It rarely has any serious side effects and you may only need to take it on days you have symptoms. If you are taking it to prevent getting symptoms you should use it regularly to get the most benefit.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
How to use Telekast-T Tablet CRFollow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Telekast-T Tablet CR is to be taken empty stomach. Avoid Telekast-T Tablet CR with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
Telekast-T Tablet CR works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways to prevent asthma and relieve symptoms of allergies.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Telekast-T Tablet CR as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Telekast-T Tablet CR may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Telekast-T Tablet CR is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Telekast-T Tablet CR may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Telekast-T Tablet CR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Telekast-T Tablet CR is recommended.
Caution Advised: Telekast-T Tablet CR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Telekast-T Tablet CR may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Telekast-T Tablet CR is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
