Tachosil Medium 4.8cm X 4.8cm Patch speeds up the process of clot formation and stops bleeding. Use the patch in the exact way as instructed by your doctor. Using it in the wrong way can cause life-threatening side effects. You should keep in mind that Tachosil Medium 4.8cm X 4.8cm Patch cannot be used in place of sutures or other forms of mechanical ligation for the treatment of major arterial or venous bleeding. This medicine should not be used in children under one month of age. Use of this medicine can cause some common side effects such as anemia, nausea, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain, increased white blood cell count, ascites, itching, atrial fibrillation, pleural effusion, gastrointestinal bleeding, wound infection, electrolyte imbalance, urinary tract infection, and postprocedural bile leakage in hepatic surgery.
