This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better. Sudin Plus Tablet also relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. Take it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by the doctor. Steam inhalation with few drops of eucalyptus oil can loosen mucus and reduce congestion and coughing.

Sudin Plus Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Bromhexine, chlorpheniramine, ephedrine and guaifenesin which relieve cough. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ephedrine is a sympathomimetic agonist which works on the blood vessels and increases the blood flow to heart and lungs. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways.

Sudin Plus Tablet is prescribed to get relief from cough. Drink warm water to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication. Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. In general, most coughs do not last more than 2 weeks. If your cough does last longer than this then it's better to see your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers or asthma. Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, or diabetes.
