In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Starpill Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Starpill Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Starpill Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Aspirin, Atenolol, Losartan an Atorvastatin. Aspirin is an antiplatelet medication. It works by preventing the platelets from sticking together. This decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. Atenolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate while Losartan is a calcium channel blocker which works by blocking the hormone angiotensin to relax blood vessels. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication. It lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL).
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Starpill Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: Starpill Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Starpill Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Starpill Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Starpill Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Starpill Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended and can help in better dose adjustment.

If a dose of Starpill Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
