In Bacterial infections Sporidex-CV 375 Tablet ER helps treat infections that are caused by bacteria. It contains two medicines, Cefalexin, and Clavulanic acid. Cefalexin stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Clavulanic Acid enhances the activity of Cefalexin against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all the infectious bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

How it works
Sporidex-CV 375 Tablet ER is a combination of two medicine: Cefalexin and Clavulanic Acid. Cefalexin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It works by blocking an enzyme (beta lactamase) produced by bacteria to inactivate antibiotics. This reduces resistance and enhances the activity of antibiotics against bacteria.
