It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) and blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation, thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. This medicine does not affect the amount or the duration of menstrual bleeding. Take this medicine as per the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. In Treatment of Abdominal pain Spasmed DV 10 mg/250 mg Injection gives relief from abdominal pain and cramps. It works best if they are used when the first signs of pain occur. It relaxes the muscles in the stomach and intestine and stops sudden muscle contractions or spasms. Spasmed DV 10 mg/250 mg Injection also blocks the activity of certain chemicals that causes pain. Take it as prescribed by the doctor for maximum benefits.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Spasmed DV 10 mg/250 mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Dicyclomine and Mefenamic Acid. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic which works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling). Together, they relieve menstrual cramps and colicky pain.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Spasmed DV 10 mg/250 mg Injection as it is deemed unsafe.

Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Spasmed DV 10 mg/250 mg Injection is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
