How it works
Soza 5mg Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called non-benzodiazepine hypnotics. It has hypnotic, sedative, and anticonvulsant (manages fits) properties. It works by binding of the GABAA receptor chloride channel macromolecular complex (a chemical messenger) that slows the activity of the nerve cells in the brain and helps fall asleep.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Soza 5mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Soza 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Soza 5mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Not Safe: Soza 5mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Soza 5mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Soza 5mg Tablet is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease.
Caution Advised: Soza 5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Soza 5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Soza 5mg Tablet is generally started at a low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
What if I forget to take it?
If you forget a dose of Soza 5mg Tablet , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.
