Sol X Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat cough. It relieves allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, throat irritation, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. It also thins and loosens mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out. Sol X Tablet is taken with or without in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you discontinue treatment prematurely, there is a risk of symptom recurrence and worsening of your condition. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are nausea, bloating, diarrhea, indigestion, nervousness, insomnia, restlessness, headache, sweating, skin rash, and coordination impaired. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. It can also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you have any kidney and liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. How it works

Sol X Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Pseudoephedrine, bromhexine and diphenhydramine which relieve cough. Pseudoephedrine is a nasal decongestant. It narrows the small blood vessels, which provide temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Diphenhydramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Pseudoephedrine+Bromhexine+Diphenhydramine Drink warm water to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication. Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. In general, most coughs do not last more than 2 weeks. If your cough does last longer than this then it's better to see your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers or asthma.
