In Bacterial infections : Seprix-T 1.125 Injection helps treat infections that are caused by bacteria. It contains two medicines, Ceftriaxone, and Tazobactum. Ceftriaxone stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Tazobactum enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all the infectious bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

How Seprix-T Injection works Seprix-T 1.125 Injection is a combination of two medicines: Ceftriaxone and Tazobactum. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Tazobactum is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.

Seprix-T 1.125 Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Seprix-T 1.125 Injection should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Seprix-T 1.125 Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
There is limited information available on the use of Seprix-T 1.125 Injection in patients with kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
