ScarEnd Gel 15gm is a topical therapy designed to improve the appearance, texture, and flexibility of scars. It is commonly prescribed for hypertrophic scars, keloids, and scars resulting from surgeries, burns, amputations, or traumatic injuries.

ScarEnd Gel 15gm combines three active agents, each contributing unique therapeutic effects. Allium cepa extract (onion extract) provides anti‑inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It helps reduce redness, swelling, and excessive fibroblast activity that can lead to raised scars. Heparin acts as an anticoagulant and anti‑inflammatory agent. It improves blood flow in the scar tissue, reduces hardness, and supports tissue remodelling. Allantoin is a soothing and keratolytic agent that promotes cell regeneration, softens the skin, and reduces irritation, making the scar tissue more pliable.

By combining these three mechanisms, the gel works synergistically to soften scar tissue, reduce discolouration, and improve elasticity. Regular application over healed wounds can gradually flatten raised scars, minimise itching or discomfort, and enhance cosmetic outcomes.

ScarEnd Gel 15gm works through the combined action of its three active ingredients. Allium cepa inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators and slows down the excessive production of collagen. Heparin binds to collagen fibres, increasing their hydration and softening the physical structure of the scar; it also reduces the inflammatory response. Allantoin promotes wound healing by stimulating the growth of healthy tissue and acts as a keratolytic, breaking down the tough keratin in the scar to allow the other ingredients to penetrate deeper. Together, they regulate the remodelling phase of skin repair to produce a smoother, less visible scar.

• Start treatment as soon as the wound is closed (roughly 10–14 days after injury) for the best results.

• Massage the gel in using gentle pressure; this physical action helps break down the fibrous scar tissue.

• If treating a scar on the face, you can apply sunscreen or makeup over the gel once it has dried completely.

• Be patient; while itching often improves quickly, changes in the scar's appearance may take several weeks to become noticeable.

• Avoid wearing tight clothing over a fresh scar, as the friction can irritate the tissue and worsen the scar.
