Schizophrenia

In Schizophrenia Schizophrenia is a mental disorder in which a person?s thinking ability, feelings and behavior become abnormal. Risen Forte Tablet helps restore the chemical imbalances in the brain that are responsible for such changes. It improves thoughts, behavior and enhances the quality of life. Do not stop taking it unless advised by the doctor. It can take several weeks for your symptoms to improve; so keep using the medicine even if you do not think it is working.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Constipation, Dryness in mouth, Weight gain, Sleepiness, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Increased prolactin level in blood, Nervousness']

Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Risen Forte Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.

Risen Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl. Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic which works by balancing the levels of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts, and behavior. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic which works on the nervous system and corrects some of the chemical imbalances that cause Parkinson's disease and certain side effects occurring during antipsychotic treatment.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Risen Forte Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Risen Forte Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Risen Forte Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Risen Forte Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Risen Forte Tablet can cause blurring of vision, dizziness, mild nausea, and mental confusion in some cases. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Risen Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Risen Forte Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Risen Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Risen Forte Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Risen Forte Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Risen Forte Tablet is a combination medicine that helps treat schizophrenia or mania. Trihexyphenidyl controls drug induced abnormal movements. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Risen Forte Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication as it may lower its efficacy. It can cause dry mouth. Maintain good oral hygiene,drink water, chew sugarless gum, or suck on hard candy for the dry mouth. It may cause an increase in weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, and triglycerides (fat). Eat healthy, exercise, and monitor your levels regularly. Inform your doctor if you have� glaucoma or trouble passing urine. Do not stop taking Risen Forte Tablet without talking� to your doctor first as it may cause worsening of symptoms.
