How to use

Rifa I 6 Kid Forte Tablet is to be taken empty stomach. Avoid Rifa I 6 Kid Forte Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
How it works
Rifa I 6 Kid Forte Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Isoniazid, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and rifampicin. Isoniazid prevents the TB bacteria from forming their own protective covering, while rifampicin works by inactivating a bacterial enzyme (RNA-polymerase) which is required by these bacteria to make essential proteins and to reproduce. Together, they kill the bacteria and eradicate the infection. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is added to prevent nerve damage which may be a side effect of isoniazid.
Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Rifa I 6 Kid Forte Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. What if I forget to take it?
