In Pain relief Pruf-P Tablet is used to treat pain associated with muscles, joints, cancer, dysmenorrhoea (severe abdominal pain during menstruation), tension headache and pain following orthopaedic surgery or injuries. It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain. Take Pruf-P Tablet as prescribed by the doctor.
Side Effects

How to use
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pruf-P Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
Pruf-P Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Flupirtine and Paracetamol, which relieves pain. Flupirtine is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking transmission of pain signals to the brain to lower pain perception. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever and pain.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Pruf-P Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Pruf-P Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
