How Nosramycin H Eye Ointment works Nosramycin H Eye Ointment is a combination of three antibiotics (Polymyxin B, Neomycin, Bacitracin) and a steroid (Hydrocortisone). The antibiotics work by different mechanisms to stop bacterial growth on the skin. The steroid works by blocking the release of chemical messengers that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively.
