Nextup Plus 100mg/10mg/2mg Capsule is a medicine used to treat dry cough. It works by directly suppressing the cough reflex in the brain. It also provides relief from allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Nextup Plus 100mg/10mg/2mg Capsule is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you discontinue treatment prematurely, there is a risk of symptom recurrence and worsening of your condition. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, indigestion, stomach pain, vomiting, upset stomach, bloating, headache, sweating, and rash. How it works

Nextup Plus 100mg/10mg/2mg Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Guaifenesin, dextromethorphan and bromhexine which relieve dry cough. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.
