Diabetes insipidus / Bed-wetting
In Diabetes insipidus Minirin 0.2mg Tablet brings about rapid action of controlling thirst and also reduces the urge to urinate often. This helps to manage these symptoms in diabetes insipidus. This improves your quality of life. In Bed-wetting Minirin 0.2mg Tablet contains the hormone vasopressin, which acts on the kidneys and reduces the frequency and amount of urine produced by the kidneys. This helps to treat bedwetting in children. Bedwetting can be uncomfortable as well as embarrassing for the children and also their parents. Taking Minirin 0.2mg Tablet does not cure the condition but prevents bedwetting effectively till the child is on treatment with it.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Nausea, Stomach pain']
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Minirin 0.2mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Minirin 0.2mg Tablet is a synthetic form of vasopressin (natural hormone that balances water). It works by causing reabsorption of water from the kidneys which controls excessive thirst and urination in diabetes insipidus. It also helps decrease night-time urine production and bedwetting in children. In addition to these, it reduces bleeding episodes by promoting the release of blood clotting factors.
Alcohol
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Minirin 0.2mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Pregnancy
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Minirin 0.2mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Minirin 0.2mg Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Driving
SAFE - Minirin 0.2mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of Minirin 0.2mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
Liver

If you forget a dose of Minirin 0.2mg Tablet , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 25�C.
You have been prescribed Minirin 0.2mg Tablet for the treatment of diabetes insipidus and/or bed-wetting. Limit the amount of fluids you drink with this medication. Minirin 0.2mg Tablet can cause low sodium levels in your body. Get regular blood tests done to monitor the levels. Inform your doctor if�you develop an infection, fever, diarrhea, or vomiting. Talk to your doctor if you have sudden weight gain or swelling in your arms and legs that does not go away.
