In Pain relief Melodol Tablet relieves pain, reduce swelling and ease inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. It reduces stiffness of joints and helps in easy movement. It also helps to manage short term symptoms such as muscle and back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. Melodol Tablet works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. It may take up to two weeks before you get the full benefit of this medicine.

Melodol Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Meloxicam and Paracetamol which relieve pain. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

If a dose of Melodol Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Melodol Tablet to relieve pain and inflammation. It works more quickly if you take them when your stomach is empty, so ideally they should be taken about 30 minutes before food. However, if taking the tablets makes you feel sick, it is better to take your doses after food as this will help reduce any feelings of sickness. Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking Melodol Tablet. Drink plenty of water while taking it. Inform your doctor if you have or ever had ulcers in your stomach or intestines. Inform your doctor if you are planning to have an operation (even a minor one, such as tooth extraction) since Melodol Tablet might increase the risk of bleeding.
