Mebrin AZ 135mg/0.25mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Mebeverine and Alprazolam. Mebeverine is an antispasmodic medicine which relaxes the muscles of the intestine and relieves spasm. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
