How Marcodin Syrup works Marcodin Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Codeine, which relieves dry cough.

What if I forget to take it?
If you miss a dose of Marcodin Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
