How it works
How Lintron Injection works Lintron Injection is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.
Safe: No harmful side effects are associated with consuming alcohol alongside Lintron Injection
Lintron Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Lintron Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Lintron Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Lintron Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lintron Injection is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. Limited information is available in patients taking this medicine for more than one day.
There is limited information available on the use of Lintron Injection in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Lintron Injection is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
