In Treatment of Parkinson's disease Levocom Tablet is one of the most effective medications to relieve symptoms of Parkinson's disease such as tremors, muscle stiffness, and difficulty moving. It increases the amount of a chemical called dopamine in the brain which helps in the coordination of body movements. This medicine can therefore enhance the quality of life by improving the ability to carry out daily functions in a better manner.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Levocom Tablet is to be taken empty stomach. Levocom Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levodopa and Carbidopa which treats Parkinsonism. Levodopa is a dopamine precursor which gets converted to dopamine, a chemical messenger that controls movement in the brain. Carbidopa is a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor which prevents breakdown of levodopa allowing it to enter the brain and increase dopamine levels.

Partial to complete suppression of lactation was seen in mothers on the treatment with Levocom Tablet, but when the treatment was stopped, lactation returned to normal levels.
Not Safe: Levocom Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Levocom Tablet may cause dizziness, drowsiness, double vision, which may affect your ability to react which may affect your ability to drive.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Levocom Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Levocom Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Levocom Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
