This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities. It rarely has any serious side effects and you may only need to take it on days you have symptoms. If you are taking it to prevent getting symptoms you should use it regularly to get the most benefit. In Treatment of Hay fever Hay fever, also called allergic rhinitis, causes cold-like signs and symptoms, such as a runny nose, itchy eyes, congestion, sneezing and sinus pressure. The only difference is that in hay fever, these symptoms are not produced due to a virus but are simply allergic responses of our body to allergens (allergy causing agents such as pollen). Levasme Syrup is used to provide relief from these symptoms of hay fever. It works by blocking the release of the chemical substance responsible for producing such allergy symptoms. Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Not Safe: Levasme Syrup is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Levasme Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Levasme Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Levasme Syrup may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Levasme Syrup is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

Caution Advised: Levasme Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Levasme Syrup may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Limited information is available on the use of Levasme Syrup in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

If a dose of Levasme Syrup is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Levasme Syrup to help relieve symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and cough. Be cautious�while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Levasme Syrup can cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drink alcohol while taking Levasme Syrup as it may cause increased sleepiness. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help. Stop taking Levasme Syrup at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
