How it works
How Imdox L Tablet works Imdox L 200mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Levofloxacin. Cefpodoxime Proxetil works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of the bacteria in the human body. Levofloxacin works by preventing the bacteria from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Imdox L 200mg/250mg Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Imdox L 200mg/250mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Imdox L 200mg/250mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
