• Sedatives, Tranquillisers, and Opioids: These medications, when taken with Helpotus Cold Tablet, increase the risk of CNS depression, excessive drowsiness, and respiratory complications due to the additive sedative effects of Diphenhydramine.
• Other Sympathomimetics/Decongestants: Concurrent use with other drugs containing decongestants (like Sudafed) can lead to additive side effects such as increased blood pressure, rapid heart rate, and nervousness, primarily due to Phenylephrine.
• Warfarin (Blood Thinners): High doses or prolonged use of the Paracetamol component can potentiate (increase the effect of) Warfarin, raising the risk of bleeding. Close monitoring is advised.
• Anticholinergics: Drugs with anticholinergic effects (like some psychiatric medicines, muscle relaxants) taken with Diphenhydramine can increase side effects such as dry mouth, blurred vision, and urinary retention.
