How it works How it works

How Gemita Injection works Gemita Injection is a combination of two medicines: Gemcitabine and Mannitol. Gemcitabine interferes with the growth of DNA and RNA of the cancer cells by substituting their building blocks. It prevents the cancer cells from growing and multiplying. Mannitol is an inert substance with high osmotic pressure. It draws water into the kidney, which in turn increases the amount of urine production. Mannitol is also used to lower the pressure inside the eye or swelling around the brain. How Gemita Injection works Gemita Injection is a combination of two medicines: Gemcitabine and Mannitol.
