In Cancer Gemita 1400mg/87.5mg Injection is given to treat various types of cancer like breast, pancreatic, ovarian, urinary bladder and non-small cell lung cancer. It kills or stops the growth of cancer cells and also prevents its multiplication to unaffected parts of the body. Gemita 1400mg/87.5mg Injection may be given alone or in combination with other anti-cancer medicines, depending on the type of cancer. Follow your doctor's advice strictly during the entire treatment.

Gemita 1400mg/87.5mg Injection is a combination of two medicines: Gemcitabine and Mannitol. Gemcitabine interferes with the growth of DNA and RNA of the cancer cells by substituting their building blocks. It prevents the cancer cells from growing and multiplying. Mannitol is an inert substance with high osmotic pressure. It draws water into the kidney, which in turn increases the amount of urine production. Mannitol is also used to lower the pressure inside the eye or swelling around the brain.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Gemita 1400mg/87.5mg Injection as it is deemed unsafe.
