This medicine is very widely used and very rarely causes side effects if taken at the right dosage. To obtain the maximum benefit, follow the prescribed instructions precisely. Do not take more or for longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, you should take the lowest dose that works, for the shortest possible time. It is also the first choice of painkiller during pregnancy or breastfeeding. In Treatment of Fever Frekof Tablet is also used to reduce a high temperature (fever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever. It may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor.

Driving

Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Frekof Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Frekof Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver

Caution Advised: Frekof Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Frekof Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. However, the use of Frekof Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Frekof Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Frekof Tablet is prescribed to get relief from symptoms of common cold. Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. Call your doctor if your symptoms have not improved within seven days of treatment. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications, e.g., anti-depressants. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold. Along with taking Frekof Tablet do the following simple tips at home to get relief:Steam inhalation.Gargling with warm saltwater.Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest.Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake.Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcase, etc.
