Fonyl Injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering which is needed for their survival.

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Fonyl Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Fonyl Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Not Safe: Fonyl Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Caution Advised: Fonyl Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Fonyl Injection may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Fonyl Injection is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
