Safe when prescribed by an expert: Erythrocin Granules is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Erythrocin Granules is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Erythrocin Granules is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Erythrocin Granules is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease as the use of this medicine may affect hearing in patients with severe kidney disease.
Caution Advised: Erythrocin Granules should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Erythrocin Granules may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of this medicine in liver disease patients can cause hearing loss.
What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Erythrocin Granules is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
