Enoclor 100mg/25.0mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Enoclor Tablet works Enoclor 100mg/25.0mg Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Atenolol and Chlorthalidone. Atenolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which lowers blood pressure by removing extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Enoclor 100mg/25.0mg Tablet may lead to excessive drowsiness.
Enoclor 100mg/25.0mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Enoclor 100mg/25.0mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Enoclor 100mg/25.0mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
