Vertigo

In Vertigo Emidas LS Tablet improves blood flow to the inner ear which reduces the pressure of excess fluid there. It is this pressure which is thought to cause the symptoms of nausea, vertigo (dizziness), tinnitus (ringing in your ears) and hearing loss in people who have Ménière?s disease. This medicine makes the symptoms milder and reduces the number of times you get the symptoms. It will be more effective if you take this medicine regularly as prescribed so try not to miss doses. It may take a couple of weeks before you notice any improvements but keep taking it, even if you do feel better, until your doctor advises it is safe to stop.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Emidas LS Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Betahistine, Ginkgo Biloba, Piracetam and Vinpocetine. Betahistine improves blood flow in the inner ear which reduces the pressure of excess fluid in the inner ear. Ginkgo Biloba and Vinpocetine increase blood flow to the brain and protect it from damage by harmful chemical substances (free radicals). Piracetam works by further protecting brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen and also affects various channels on nerve cells.

Alcohol

If a dose of Emidas LS Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Emidas LS Tablet helps relieve vertigo (dizziness) associated with M�ni�re's disease. It can only decrease the number and severity of attacks but will not completely stop them. Taking it with food can help reduce stomach problems. Take it at the same time each day to maintain a steady amount of the medicine in your body. Inform your doctor if you have a history of peptic ulcer, asthma, or low blood pressure. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor first.
