These include infections of the blood, brain, lungs, bones, joints, urinary tract, stomach and intestines. It can also be used to treat gum ulcers and other dental infections (abscesses), leg ulcers and pressure sores. It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant. This medicine is generally safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should ask your doctor.

How to use

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Efimox 775mg Tablet ER is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Efimox 775mg Tablet ER is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Not Safe: Efimox 775mg Tablet ER may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Efimox 775mg Tablet ER can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Caution Advised: Efimox 775mg Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Efimox 775mg Tablet ER may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

What if I forget to take it?
If a dose of Efimox 775mg Tablet ER is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
