How it works
How Doxyroad AM Tablet SR works Doxyroad AM 75mg/400mg Tablet SR is a combination of two medicines: Ambroxol and Doxycycline which treat respiratory tract infections. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Doxycycline is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Doxyroad AM 75mg/400mg Tablet SR as it is deemed unsafe.
Doxyroad AM 75mg/400mg Tablet SR is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Doxyroad AM 75mg/400mg Tablet SR is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether Doxyroad AM 75mg/400mg Tablet SR alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
