Under normal conditions, a chemical messenger called acetylcholine binds to these M3 receptors on the detrusor muscle of the bladder, causing the bladder to squeeze and empty.

In an overactive bladder, this muscle contracts prematurely and erratically. Darifenacin temporarily steps in and parks itself on these M3 receptors, preventing acetylcholine from delivering the message to the muscle. If you forget to take a dose of Darif 7.5mg Tablet, take it as soon as you remember that day. If you do not remember until the following day, completely skip the missed dose and resume your normal schedule with your next morning tablet.
