In Treatment of Allergic conditions Clentus 10mg Syrup is used to treat many different inflammatory and allergic conditions. It helps treat runny nose, sneezing, itching and watery eyes. It works by lowering your immune system?s response to these conditions and prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It helps relieve symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching, and other allergic-type reactions. If you are not sure why you are being given this medicine, ask your doctor. This medicine is given orally (by mouth). You should always take it as it has been prescribed for you. Do not stop taking it without your doctor?s advice. This can cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Clentus 10mg Syrup can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Clentus 10mg Syrup is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine. This causes watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, sneezing, skin rashes, itching etc. Clentus 10mg Syrup works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby relieving these symptoms.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Clentus 10mg Syrup as it is deemed unsafe.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Clentus 10mg Syrup is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Clentus 10mg Syrup is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of Clentus 10mg Syrup may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Not Safe: Clentus 10mg Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Clentus 10mg Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Clentus 10mg Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Clentus 10mg Syrup may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: There is limited information available on the use of Clentus 10mg Syrup in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Clentus 10mg Syrup is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
