In Dermatitis Calanim Plus Lotion helps manage the symptoms of dermatitis such as dry, itchy, swollen and red skin. It reduces dryness and keeps the skin hydrated and moisturized. It also has a cooling and soothing effect on the skin and thus gives relief from itching. Apply Calanim Plus Lotion to the affected area usually up to 3-4 times a day or as directed by your doctor. You may see results after 2-3 weeks however, it may vary from person to person as well as on the severity of the condition.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.

Calanim Plus Lotion is a combination of three medicines. Calamine has mild astringent and antipruritic actions. Its extracts form a protective layer on the skin by restoring moisture, so that it feels hydrated and refreshed. Liquid Paraffin is an emollient (a substance that softens or soothes the skin). It works by preventing water loss from the outer layer of the skin. This relieves dryness and leaves the skin soft and hydrated.

If a dose of Calanim Plus Lotion is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

You have been prescribed Calanim Plus Lotion for the treatment of dermatitis. It may take several weeks to show its action. Keep using it as suggested by your doctor. Apply it as a thin layer onto a clean, dry, unbroken infected area of skin. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas. Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days of treatment, or if your symptoms clear up and then come back.
