Biovac 25mcg Injection is a typhoid vaccine recommended for the prevention of typhoid fever. Biovac 25mcg Injection works by causing the body to produce its own protection (antibodies) against the bacteria. This vaccine is generally recommended for individuals who are traveling to areas where typhoid fever is common. However, while traveling, it is important that you avoid contaminated food or water. Biovac 25mcg Injection is given as an injection into a muscle by a doctor or a nurse, as a single dose, approximately 2 weeks before travelling to such an area where typhoid fever is common.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Alcohol

Pregnancy

Store in a refrigerator (2 - 8�C). Do not freeze.

Biovac 25mcg Injection helps prevent typhoid. It should be given at least 2 weeks before protection against typhoid fever is required.� Take it in addition to strict food, water and personal hygiene measures to avoid the disease. It is usually given by injection into the muscle of the upper arm or leg. It is not recommended for use in infants and children under two years of age. Protection lasts for around 3 years. Booster injection is required every 3 years to provide continued immunity.
