You may experience an increase in the number of gout attacks for several months after starting this medicine while the body removes extra uric acid. Do not stop taking Bencid Tablet, continue along with your medications for gout pain prescribed by your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking Bencid Tablet if you have or ever had kidney stones, stomach ulcers, peptic ulcers, diabetes, liver disorders, or blood disorders. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
