How Banzim Lotion works Banzim Lotion is a combination of two medicines: cetrimide and gamma benzene hexachloride. Cetrimide kills certain bacteria and fungus by damaging their protective covering. Gamma benzene hexachloride causes paralysis in parasites (lice and mites) by getting absorbed into them and kills parasites and their eggs.

Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching. Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first treatment application. This helps kill the scabies mites.
