It is also used for the prevention of post-operative infections. It is advisable to continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and difficult to treat.

How Aurnida Infusion works Aurnida IV Infusion is a combination of two medicines: Ornidazole and Sodium Chloride. Ornidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Sodium Chloride replenishes salt and electrolyte levels.

Pregnancy

Aurnida IV Infusion is given as an injection under the supervision of a doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Discontinue Aurnida IV Infusion and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
