How it works
How Aumentar Kit works Aumentar Kit is a combination of three medicines: Artesunate, Sulphadoxine and Pyrimethamine which treat malaria. Artesunate and Pyrimethamine are antiparasitic medicines which work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulphadoxine is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.
Consult your Doctor: Please consult your doctor regarding the safety of consuming alcohol with Aumentar Kit . Experts have not found evidence of alcohol impairing the effectiveness of the medicine.
Aumentar Kit may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Aumentar Kit is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Aumentar Kit may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Aumentar Kit should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aumentar Kit may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

What if I forget to take it?
