Just like high cholesterol, high homocysteine levels can also contribute to formation of blood clots and cause damage to the blood vessels. High homocysteine levels usually indicate a deficiency of vitamin B-12 or folate. Athrovas HC Tablet contains vitamin B-12 supplements that help restore its normal levels. It also contains cholesterol lowering medicine that helps maintain the normal cholesterol level in our blood. Additionally, this medicine contains some nutritional supplements that enhance the overall health of an individual. Lowering the amount of cholesterol and homocysteine, reduces the chances of heart diseases and helps you remain healthier for longer. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthy and staying active) to maximize the effectiveness of this medicine. Keep taking it even if you feel well.

Athrovas HC Tablet is a combination of five medicines: L-Methyl Folate , Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin , Pyridoxal-5-phasphate , Rosuvastatin and Vitamin D3. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-Co A-reductase) that is required to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). L-Methyl Folate , Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin , Pyridoxal-5-phasphate and Vitamin D3 provide essential nutrients.

Not Safe: Athrovas HC Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
