How to use Aten A Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aten A 50mg/10mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
How Aten A Tablet works Aten A 50mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atenolol and Atorvastatin which treat high blood pressure and cholesterol.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Aten A 50mg/10mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Aten A 50mg/10mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Aten A 50mg/10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Aten A 50mg/10mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Aten A 50mg/10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aten A 50mg/10mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended and can help in better dose adjustment.

If a dose of Aten A 50mg/10mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
