In Treatment of Parasitic infections : Sioban 200mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat many parasitic worm infections. It works by killing and stopping the further growth of parasites causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all parasites are killed and do not become resistant. This medicine is generally safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should ask your doctor.
Side effects of Sioban 200mg Tablet in children Sioban 200mg Tablet does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they�re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child�s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. The most common side effects include-Common side effects of Sioban Sore throat Vomiting Dizziness Increased liver enzymes Nausea Loss of appetite
How can I give Sioban 200mg Tablet to my child?Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sioban 200mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
How Sioban Tablet works Worms enter inside your child�s body when your child eats or drinks something that�s infected with a worm or its eggs. Once inside the body, these worms get attached to the inner walls of the intestines and can even enter other body organs. Sioban 200mg Tablet works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die thereby treating your child�s infection.
Sioban 200mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Sioban 200mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.No dose adjustments required in kidney disease.
Sioban 200mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Sioban 200mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Sioban 200mg Tablet may cause elevated levels of enzymes in the liver. Monitoring of liver function tests (LFT) and complete blood count (CBC) is recommended while your child is taking this medicine.
Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
