How to use Stalia-MF Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stalia-MF Tablet is to be taken with food.
How it works
How Stalia-MF Tablet works Stalia-MF Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tranexamic Acid and Mefenamic Acid. Tranexamic Acid is an anti-fibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Stalia-MF Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Stalia-MF Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.
Stalia-MF Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Stalia-MF Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Stalia-MF Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Stalia-MF Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Stalia-MF Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

What if I forget to take it?
