In Insomnia Zomnia 5mg Tablet helps treat insomnia (difficulty falling or staying asleep) in people who have problems related to their sleeping habits. Insomnia may cause you to wake up earlier than usual and you may find it difficult to go back to sleep. It works by slowing down the abnormal activity of nerves in the brain to allow sleep. It also improves the sleep-wake cycle and restores it to normal. This helps you relax, feel calm and more energetic. It also helps you concentrate better and improves your quality of life.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them.
Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zomnia 5mg Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.
Zomnia 5mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Zomnia 5mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Not Safe: Zomnia 5mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Zomnia 5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Not Safe: Zomnia 5mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. As Zomnia 5mg Tablet may cause side effects such as reduced alertness, confusion, tiredness, dizziness, poor muscle coordination and this may affect your ability to drive.
Safe when prescribed by an expert: Zomnia 5mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Zomnia 5mg Tablet is recommended. However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Caution Advised: Zomnia 5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zomnia 5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Zomnia 5mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If a dose of Zomnia 5mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
